Happy Friday! November 11 we will have our next planned in-service. All staff will report to the high school Performing Arts Center for an 8:00 AM look at Portrait of an Eagle. The second part of the morning will be spent finalizing transfer skills as a group. Please take a few minutes, as a follow-up to the last department meeting, to comment or add your own goals so we can cover all bases. After lunch, the secondary teams return to your buildings for building activities, and the elementary team is scheduled for department activities (TBD).

FRIDAY EXTRA: How To Get 1% Better Everyday… it compounds!
I recently finished a book called Atomic Habits by James Clear. It is a fantastic book for us (although, you probably have good habits already) and kids (I gave this book to my kids and they have connected to it). This video (8:04) covers one of the concepts in the book about trying to get 1% better every day. If you did, you would be 37% better in one year. It is worth sharing with kids that you teach and coach. Enjoy!
